Blended Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a variation of Standard MHFA course that can be done eLearning. This course teaches adults simple, practical first aid skills for helping people who is experiencing mental health problems or mental health crisis.

Blended Online Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is designed and assessed by MHFA Australia – a national not-for-profit health promotion charity.
This course teaches adults (18 years and over) how to provide initial support to adults who are developing a mental illness or experiencing a mental health crisis. It is designed to provide MHFA knowledge on how to recognise symptoms of mental health problems in adults and how to approach and provide support for people in a crisis situation.
We offer two types of Blended Online MHFA course:

You are required to obtain it yourself on Mental Health First Aid Australia’ website. Our course only includes the second component (two ZOOM sessions).
To book in for a course, please complete the following steps:
STEP 1: Obtain eLearning component buy registering on MHFA Australia portal:
STEP 2: Complete the eLearning component before booking for two ZOOM sessions with us. eLearning should take 5-7 hrs to complete.
STEP 3: Check our calendar below and book in for our ZOOM sessions. Both sessions are compulsory to attend.
STEP 4: After completing the course, you can do Mental Health First Aider Accreditation with Mental Health First Aid Australia and be accredited.
Blended MHFA course will teach you how to listen and respond to someone with a mental health problem, even if they are experiencing a crisis. You’ll learn how to help someone to access the support they might need for the successful management of symptoms as part of their recovery journey.
Blended MHFA training course consists of the following component:
1. eLearning Component (not included in the price);
2. two ZOOM sessions.
Participants can opt for Mental Health First Aider Accreditation through Mental Health First Aid Australia website.
This payment method ONLY applies to companies and employment agencies.
A valid Purchase Order / Authority to Invoice MUST be submitted prior to the day of training.

if participants connect 15 minutes after the scheduled starting time.
To attend a training session, you'll require to have a device (laptop, desktop or tablet) that is compatible with Zoom.

Participants must provide one form of photo I.D. (e.g. passport,
driver’s licence, proof of age card, student card).

From 1 January 2015, every student who undertakes nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Australia is required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Students can use their USI to access their enrolment and achievement record from a single online source. The USI is made up of ten numbers and letters. A USI account will contain all of a student’s nationally recognised training records and results since 1 January 2015.
IF A PARTICIPANT FAILS TO PRODUCE A VALID USI NUMBER, STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT CANNOT BE ISSUED.
Edway Training will verify your USI before a certificate or statement can be issued.
