Is there a practical assessment?
Yes, this course consists of a theory based assessment as well as a practical assessment.
The removal of asbestos can be hazardous and potentially fatal if not carried out correctly. For this reason, a license is required to undertake the removal process.
Please note that holding a CPCCDE3014 Remove Non Friable Asbestos certification only permits individuals to remove non-friable asbestos and does not cover the removal of the more hazardous friable asbestos.
To work with friable asbestos, it is necessary to complete the CPCCDE3015 Remove Friable Asbestos training.
