According to the VIC Roads training requirements, all field personnel responsible for setting out, implementing and/or monitoring a Traffic Guidance Scheme (as required by a traffic management plan) must have:
Traffic Management training course covers topics, such as plan and prepare to implement traffic management plan, set out the traffic guidance scheme, monitor traffic guidance scheme, close down traffic and clean up.
The course consists of powerpoint theory presentation, videos, practical activities and end of the day practical and theory assessments.
Traffic Management training course does not provide Traffic Control qualification. To obtain Traffic Control qualification, a person is required to complete Traffic Control training to receive ‘Control Traffic with the Stop-Slow Bat RIIWHS205D’ qualification

Traffic Management training course is delivered and certificates are issued by the Edway Training (RTO No 91401).
Edway Training is approved by Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver this training course.
From 1 January 2015, every student who undertakes nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Australia is required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Students can use their USI to access their enrolment and achievement record from a single online source. The USI is made up of ten numbers and letters. A USI account will contain all of a student’s nationally recognised training records and results since 1 January 2015.
IF A PARTICIPANT FAILS TO PRODUCE A VALID USI NUMBER, STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT CANNOT BE ISSUED.
Our 8 Hour course fits neatly into busy schedules. The course time is 9.00 am – 5.00pm and the classes are offered though the week (including Saturdays) from 2 locations (Hallam and Sunshine). For more information, please refer to the training calendar.

To receive a WorkSafe Victoria issued White Card you must attend a formal face-to-face training session. White cards obtained through online providers might not be accepted on some construction sites in Victoria.
