Refunds, Cancellation and Rescheduling Requests

Refund Process

  1. After the refund is approved, the funds will be reimbursed to the account used for the initial payment.
  2. Please note that refunds can only be processed to the account originally used for the initial payment and cannot be transferred to any other account.
  3. It usually takes 5 to 10 business days for the funds to appear in the original account.
  4. To request a refund participants must either:
  5. Send a request email to melbourne@edway.com.au or
  6. Submit an online form via the RTO website.
  7. The Refund Request form is available on the Cancellation and Refund Requests page
  8. Refund Requests cannot be submitted via phone.

Course Cancelation Requests

  1. Participants who wish to cancel an existing training course booking may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
  2. Cancellation requests submitted more than 24 hours prior to the course start time are eligible for a full refund.
  3. However, an approved cancellation request will be subject to a processing fee of $10.00.
  4. Cancellation requests submitted less than 24 hours prior to the course start time are eligible for a refund of 50% of the course fee.
  5. Please note that the $10.00 processing fee does not apply in this case.
  6. Cancellation requests submitted on the day of training or thereafter are not eligible for a refund.
  7. To request a course cancellation participants must either:

Rescheduling requests

  1. Participants are allowed to reschedule their training courses a maximum of 2 times.
  2. If a participant has already rescheduled twice, the next rescheduling request will be subject to the full course fee.
  3. Once the rescheduling process has been completed, participants are no longer eligible to request a refund.
  4. If a participant would like to reschedule their training course booking, the
    rescheduling fee might apply.
  5. The rescheduling fee is calculated as a percentage of the course fee.
  6. Rescheduling requests submitted more than 24 hours prior to the course start time are free of charge.
  7. However, an approved rescheduling request will be subject to a processing fee of$10.00.
  8. Rescheduling requests submitted less than 24 hours prior to the course start time will be subject to a 25% rescheduling fee.
  9. Please note that the $10.00 processing fee does not apply in this case.
  10. Rescheduling requests submitted on the day of training (or after) will require payment of the full course fee.

Attendance

  1. If a participant fails to attend the scheduled class:
  2. They are not eligible to request a refund.
  3. To reschedule the course, the participant must pay the full course fee.

Training Location

  1. If a participant arrives at the wrong location and is unable to reach the
    correct location on time:
  2. They are not eligible to request a refund.
  3. To reschedule the course, the participant must pay the full course fee.

Unsatisfactory assessment

  1. If a participant fails to complete all training assessments satisfactory:
  2. They are not eligible to request a refund.
  3. If they wish to resit the course, they have the option to do so at the training cost, which is the course fee minus any applicable government fees. For example, if they want to resit the White Card course in VIC, the cost will be $121.50 ($149.00 course fee minus $27.50 government fees). However, if there are no government fees, the full course fee will apply.

RSA RCG eligibility (NSW ONLY)

  1. Only individuals who have not previously undergone RSA/RCG NSW courses or whose RSA/RCG NSW competency card expired more than 28 days ago are eligible to attend RSA/RCG NSW courses.
  2. If a participant breaches this course entry condition and attends the class, they are not eligible to request a refund.

Duplicate qualification

  1. Participants who have obtained a qualification from another RTO prior to
    successfully completing the same training course with our RTO are not eligible to request a refund.

Training Requirements

  1. Late Arrival (applies to all courses)
    1. If a participant arrives after the scheduled starting time of the class.
  2. LLN Assessment (applies to all courses)
    1. If a participant fails the LLN (Language, Literacy, and Numeracy) assessment.
  3. Insufficient ID (applies only to courses with 100 points of ID training requirement)
    1. If a participant fails to present 100 points of ID on the course day.
  4. Training Certification Prerequisite (applies only to courses with a training certification prerequisite training requirement)
    1. If a participant fails to provide the required training certification.
  5. In all these circumstances, participants are not allowed to attend the course and have the following options:
  6. Reschedule their training for a different date, subject to a 25% rescheduling
    fee, or
  7. Request a refund, with eligibility for a 50% refund of the course fee.

Course Cancellations (By RTO)

  1. If a class is cancelled by the RTO (Registered Training Organisation),
    participants have the following options:
  2. Reschedule training for a different date free of charge.
  3. Request a full course fee refund.
  4. Please note that the $10.00 processing fee does not apply in this case
  5. Any additional expenses incurred by the participant, such as travel costs, will not be reimbursed in case of a class cancellation.
  1. For online courses or correspondence courses, once the enrolment process is complete and access to course materials has been granted, no refunds, transfers, or cancellations will be permitted.
  2. However, please note that this policy does not apply to virtual classes
    conducted via Zoom.
