Can I transfer an old construction induction card from another state in Australia?
No, we can only transfer an old Victorian Red Card. We suggest contacting the licensing authority in the state you acquired the card from.
Old Victorian construction induction cards (known as the red cards) can be transferred to the new WorkSafe VIC-issued white card.
The transfer process is done remotely via email.
Course CODE
Upon successful Red Card to White Card transfer, participants will be issued with the CPCWHS1001 ‘Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry’ Statement of Attainment.
Certificates are issued by Edway Training (RTO No 91401).
Edway Training is approved by WorkSafe Victoria and accredited by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver this training course.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive:
Red Card to White Card transfer is a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Therefore, no training is required.
WorkSafe VIC issued plastic white cards are nationally accepted all across Australia.

The cost is $75, which includes the cost of your new white card from Worksafe Victoria.
In order to transfer a red card to a white card, we must either sight the original card or the original needs to be certified by an approved authority.
If you do not have the original card you must either obtain a replacement card from the original training provider, or request an official letter stating your name, red card number and issue date.
We can accept a letter for purposes of transferring if the original card cannot be obtained.
