- Accreditation: Opportunity to become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider) after completing a short assessment, valid for 3 years.
- Program Recognition: Recognised by Suicide Prevention Australia as a safe and effective suicide prevention program.

What Will You Receive
- Access to the MHFA assessment Completion of the short assessment at the end of a course leads to accreditation as a Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider).
What Will You Learn
Learning Outcomes:
- Recognise signs and symptoms of mental health problems in adults.
- Use an action plan to initiate mental health first aid conversations.
- Understand barriers to help-seeking and methods to overcome them.
- Assess and provide initial support in various crisis situations.
- Gain knowledge about the prevalence, impact, risk factors, and treatments for mental illnesses.
- Learn and apply self-care practices as a Mental Health First Aider.
