What is the Training About?

Work Health and Safety (WHS) Training should cover the responsibilities and discuss the roles you have in the workplace. In construction, this would include the identification of hazardous materials, including asbestos, and compliance with legislated work safety practices.

Is Work Health and Safety Training The Same as White Card Course?

It is important to remember that the Training does not qualify you for the General Construction Induction card. The White Card can only be acquired by taking the Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry CPCCWHS1001 course. However, you do not need to have a White Card to take Work Health and Safety Training.

What are the Requirements for the Training?

Here are the requirements for Apply WHS Requirements In The Construction Industry CPCCWHS2001 course.

  • Online Module. You need to complete the online assessments before taking the course. This will be provided after completing your booking.
  • LLN (Language, Literacy and Numeracy). An LLN assessment is required to determine your eligibility for enrolment.
  • USI (Unique Student Identifier). You will be required to provide a valid USI number before taking the course. You can obtain one here.
