There is little doubt that everyone is interested in helping in case of an emergency. After all, the ability to help save a life is something that you can use on any given day. However, some people are unsure about the Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) HLTAID001 course in Sydney since the requirements seem overwhelming. What is the CPR Course and What are the Requirements?

In Sydney, you can take the proper training to learn how to provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. The course will teach you how to identify an unconscious casualty who may require CPR. In addition to that, you learn how to promote survivability by using CPR techniques and the recovery position.

Taking the CPR course also has certain requirements in Sydney. These are listed below.

  • Online Pre-Study Module. You are expected to complete the online pre-study module that covers the theoretical part of Provide Advanced First Aid training. This will be provided after you book the course.
  • USI (Unique Student Identifier). All participants in the course must provide a valid USI number. If you don’t have one, you may obtain it here.
  • A valid form of photo ID is required before you can take the course. You will be asked to provide a passport, Australian driver’s licence, proof of age card, or student card.
  • LLN (Language, Literacy and Numeracy). All participants are expected to have a basic understanding, reading and writing of English. This will be determined by an LLN assessment.
