We all want to find new ways to help people, especially during difficult times. Some individuals have a hard time dealing with the pressures of life these days. Since we want to keep them safe, it is best to take Mental Health First Aid training. But how can we maintain our own safety when taking the course?

Staying Safe While Taking Mental Health First Aid Training

If we want to stay safe, it is best to stay at home. However, like most service courses, Mental Health First Aid training must be taken in a face-to-face class. With that in mind, it is best to choose a provider that follows safety guidelines implemented by the government.

With Edway Training, you can rest assured that safety guidelines are being followed. Here are a few things to remember so you can stay safe when getting Mental Health First Aid training.

  • Get vaccinated. All participants and staff must be vaccinated before being allowed into a classroom.
  • Always wear a mask. All participants and staff must keep their masks on during the course.
  • Check in using QR codes. You will be asked to show your COVID-19 digital certificate before entering the classroom. If you do not have one, a valid medical exception will also be accepted.

Make sure you are keeping your distance during class. Participants and staff are expected to practice social distancing when they are on the premises.
