Does the RCG Competency Card Expire in Sydney?

Casino

There is little doubt the best part of completing RCG training is being given the competency card. After all, the certification is proof that you have finished the course and you are now ready to start working. But will the certificate actually expire much sooner than expected when you are in Sydney?

When Does The RCG Competency Card Expire in Sydney?

We usually don’t think much about a certificate’s expiration date. However, it is important to remember that your RCG competency card will eventually expire when you are working in Sydney. This is why casino workers and other people working in the gaming industry need to take a refresher course.

So how long can you use your RCG competency card without worries? The certification is valid for five years. It will then expire and you need to get a refresher in order to procure a new card in Sydney. Otherwise, you will no longer be allowed to work in the gaming industry.

When you take the RCG course, you will be given an interim certificate that will be valid for 90 days. You will then need to apply for the RCG competency card in Service NSW centre on your own. It is best to do so before your interim certificate will expire in Sydney.

Are you ready to start working in the gaming industry? You will first need to complete your requirements for the RCG course. Edway Training offers Provide Responsible Gambling Services SITHGAM001 courses in Darlinghurst, Seven Hills, and Mona Vale NSW. Make sure to book now so you can get your certificate as soon as possible.
