We are all determined to stay safe these days and that means taking extra caution when we leave our home. It is also important to only go to establishments where safety guidelines are being followed. So what should one do to ensure one’s own safety when one needs to take an important course for work? Take note of these tips before taking the Mental Health First Aid Training.

Safety Tips To Remember Before Taking Mental Health First Aid Training

Here are some of the important safety tips to remember before you attend Mental Health First Aid Training:

  • Wear a mask before entering the classroom. You are also expected to keep your mask on at all times when you are on the premises.
  • Bring your own hand sanitiser. Alcohol and hand sanitisers will be made available at entrances and exits. However, it is best to take a small bottle of your own that you can use in the classroom.
  • Take note of possible symptoms. If you are feeling unwell or have a fever, it is best to stay at home instead. If you have a cough or have difficulty breathing, you can reschedule your class for a later date.

You can rest assured that the staff will also be wearing masks during classes. In addition to that, the classrooms and surfaces will be sanitised regularly. Only a small number of participants will be accepted in classes in line with the government’s guidelines.
