According to SafeWork NSW requirements, all workers involved in demolition activities must complete the CPCCDE3016 unit as part of their mandatory training by 1 March 2025. The CPCCDE3016 unit is one of the 11 required competencies for demolition licence holders and named supervisors.
The prerequisite for the CPCCDE3016 course is CPCCWHS2001 Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry. Our online course offers a combo package that includes both the prerequisite CPCCWHS2001 training and the CPCCDE3016 demolition training, making it ideal for individuals who have not yet completed the CPCCWHS2001 unit.

Demolition Safety and Apply WHS Training Combo course is delivered and statements of attainment are issued by Training Aid Australia Pty Ltd (RTO No 91411).
Training Aid Australia is accredited by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver CPCCDE3016 “Identify hazards on demolition sites and apply risk management strategies” and CPCCWHS2001 “Apply WHS Requirements In The Construction Industry” training courses.

Upon successful completion of the course participants will receive Statements of Attainment for the following units of competency:
CPCCDE3016: this unit covers topics such as reviewing site and work plans, applying WHS risk management, ensuring public health and safety, implementing environmental risk management strategies, and continuously improving risk management methods.
Key skills and knowledge include identifying and mitigating risks related to building integrity, hazardous substances, and demolition activities. Compliance with workplace and regulatory requirements, proper use of PPE, and managing environmental risks are also crucial. Additionally, it involves engaging in professional development and team discussions to enhance demolition methods and safety strategies.
CPCCWHS2001: this unit
focuses on identifying and assessing risks, handling hazardous materials, applying safe work practices, and following emergency procedures.
Participants will learn skills such as assessing and reporting hazards, using PPE and safety signs correctly, and complying with WHS legislation. The course teaches workers to plan and perform tasks safely, handle hazardous materials, respond to emergencies, and contribute to WHS reporting and compliance.

From 1 January 2015, every student who undertakes nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Australia is required to have a USI.
STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT CANNOT BE ISSUED
if a participant fails to produce a valid USI number.
Register your USI via www.usi.gov.au
Participants should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time of the course to complete the necessary registration paperwork.
ENTRY TO THE COURSE WILL BE REFUSED
if participants arrive 15 minutes after the scheduled starting time.
Participants must provide Photo I.D.
The basic understanding, reading and writing of English is required.
As part of our pre-training review all students are required to complete an LLN assessment to determine a student’s eligibility for enrolment into their selected course.
All students enrolling into any Training Aid Australia course must have LLN skills to do simple calculations, understand English well enough to be able to read, write, and provide verbal responses to questions in English to undertake training and assessment in any of our courses.
