Our White Card Training Course is delivered and statements of attainment are issued by Training Aid Australia Pty Ltd (RTO No 91411)

Training Aid Australia is approved by SafeWork NSW and accredited by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver this training course.

According to the SafeWork NSW requirements, participants wishing to complete White Card training through Zoom must be physically present within New South Wales during the time of the training session.

Participation from individuals located outside the state is strictly prohibited.

White Card Course Information

  • General Construction Induction Training is required for:
    • all persons who carry out construction work, including site managers and supervisors, surveyors
    • labourers and tradespersons, who access operational construction zones unaccompanied or not directly supervised by an inducted person
    • all persons whose employment causes them to routinely enter operational construction zones
  • Work Health and Safety Regulations 2017 Reg 317 states that
    • (1) A person conducting a business or undertaking must not direct or allow a worker to carry out construction work unless
    • (a) the worker has successfully completed general construction induction training, and
    • (b) if the worker completed the training more than 2 years previously – the worker has carried out construction work in the preceding 2 years.
  • To get a replacement for a lost or stolen white card, please contact SafeWork NSW on 13 10 50 or apply for a replacement online.
  • The unit of competency CPCWHS1001 Work Safely in the Construction Industry supersedes and is equivalent to CPCCWHS1001 Work Safely in the Construction Industry.

As part of our pre-training review, all students are required to complete LLN indicator to determine a student’s eligibility for enrolment into their selected course.

All students enrolling into any Edway Training course must have LLN skills to do simple calculations, understand English well enough to be able to read, write, and provide verbal responses to questions in English.

If you feel you will require assistance, please ask to speak with a trainer confidentially at enrolment.
