Our Barista Course is designed for aspiring baristas, hospitality workers, and coffee enthusiasts, this course includes: SITHFAB025 – Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee and SITXFSA005 – Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety.

Course CODE
The Barista Course is delivered and certificates are issued by the Edway Training (RTO No 91401). Edway Training is accredited by ASQA to deliver this training course.

This blended course begins with online pre-course learning, followed by an intensive 6-hour hands-on training session focused on mastering espresso machines.
Participants will learn all aspects of coffee preparation, including operating espresso machines and grinders, texturing milk, setting up a coffee workstation, and crafting high-quality espresso drinks.
The course also covers customer guidance on coffee beverages, making it ideal for hospitality staff in cafés, restaurants, bars, and event venues.

Participants must provide one form of photo I.D. (e.g. passport, Australian driver’s licence, NSW proof of age card).

Participants should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time of the course to complete the necessary registration paperwork.

All students enrolling into any Edway Training course must have LLN skills to do simple calculations, understand English well enough to be able to read, write, and provide verbal responses to questions in English to undertake training and assessment in any of our courses.

From 1 January 2015, every student who undertakes nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Australia is required to have a USI.
STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT CAN NOT BE ISSUED
