Does First Aid Course Include CPR Accreditation?

First Aid CPR

There is little doubt that we want to get more value in our money. For instance, it would be great to learn something extra when you get some training. So is it possible that a First Aid course teaches you a little more than basic first aid? Will you also get CPR accreditation when you compete your training?

Will Taking First Aid Course Give You CPR Accreditation?

When you take a First Aid course, you learn how to deal with fractures and dislocations as well as burns and scalds. You are also taught the best way to help a patient with head, chest and spinal injuries. In addition to that, you learn several bandaging techniques and instant relief for bites, stings.

Interestingly, one of the important things you learn in the First Aid course is Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation. After all, it’s a life-saving procedure that you need to learn as part of the training. With that in mind, you can rest assured that you will get CPR accreditation when you complete the course.

It is best to know that the First Aid course also includes Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation HLTAID009. This means you don’t need to take a separate course if you want to get CPR accreditation. However, you can also take Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy HLTAID015 to support your accreditation.

Are you ready to take the proper training? Edway Training offers Provide First Aid HLTAID011 courses in Darlinghurst, Seven Hills, and Mona Vale NSW. Book now and be prepared to save lives in your community.
